Good morning guys. 13 degrees this morning, not even going to make it out of the 20s today.
Still over 600k in our area without power. Our Governor is saying the windstorm outages is the 'largest combined statewide event in history'. I went for a run yesterday after work and there's a bit more damage in the neighborhood than I had first noticed, most being downed trees and limbs. There are a few homes in my neighborhood that were damaged by downed trees, one very badly (large tree fell through the back of the house all the way over the roof and over the front - the owners are okay). Thankfully we didn't have any damage other than a few pieces of lattice being ripped off of our pergola, which I am removing this spring anyway.

Thanks. It's been a little difficult getting around. The main road at our neighborhood's south entrance has been blocked for the past few days due to a downed power line. The traffic light at the North entrance has been out for a few days. One piece of my lattice punched itself onto my electrical service mast on the roof, so that was a chore to get off last night.

So I have lived in Nebraska for a few years and the weather is very similar, but it is real flat there.
Maybe I should take a few pics and show them.
That might be a good activity to share is Photo's of the state you are visiting or live in.
