Good evening all.
I think my Mustang is going to be in this year's MCACN show in November. They started a new catagory of "Modern Muscle" - they are going to allow 13 Mopar, 13 GM & 13 Ford - and I think I am one of the 13 Fords that were picked (I won't know for sure until I get my packet but filled out the online entry form). I bit the bullet and put my car in Concourse Day 2 (period correct bolt on mods will not get points taken off) Let's see how well my Daily Driver will do in Concourse judging LOL!

Barb, how is the 84 running, I didn't see any updates this past week after the rebuild/install......Best of luck with it.
Me, just lurking as usual, not much to say......

Chris:
Thanks for asking! The 84 fired up first shot!! Did not quite run the times I wanted at the track but I am still trying to get all the little things fine tuned!!! It sounds AWESOME though!!! Honestly, not quiet sure I went big enough on the cam or I have the timing not quite right yet. It will take some time to get the new set up exactly how I want it. I did, however, get rid of the dead miss on cylinder 8!!! There is always tomorrow!!! LOL Hopefully the rain stays away so I can get some stuff figured out!!

Barb, keep plugging away, I know you will and have. Always surprised at what you take on to get it running good. Are you running a basic HEI distributor, I thought I read long before you maybe had an MSD? I switched over from a GM HEI to an MSD and had tons of problems......Either way, glad the miss is gone.

I surprise myself with some of the stuff I get into...LOL I sure am learning a lot...hahaha I am SOOO glad I am not paying someone else to do all this work. Before long, I will have touched every part of this car. Been inside the transmission, been inside the engine, Even had to mess with the web of gears in the rear end a little bit to pull my rear axles. Darn sure not scared to get dirty!!
You remember correctly that I am actually running partial MSD. GM HEI distributor with MSD Cap and rotor!!!
