4th Gen/ 5th gen dash.

Yeah the 93-96 dash looked different. I had a 96 but I've also driven a few later 4th gens. The 5th gen Monte dash doesn't have near that amount of information. Just fuel and coolant temp and I don't think they even have a tach (some might though). They certainly don't have oil pressure or voltometer. The 150 mph speedometer should have been a dead giveaway as well. They used a 98+ Z28 gauge (which work perfectly with the LS1 PCM of course)

Also, I think what threw me off was the steering wheel.

I know it can be done on the 2nd gen Camaros as well. If I recall correctly. a new hole for the HVAC vent had to be cut in the firewall on the Camaro. I don't know how ideal that setup would be for a non- modern EFI motor. Keep in mind these instrument clusters are fed all their information from the ECM and it's plugged in through a single plug on the side of the instrument cluster.
Enzo, the steering wheel is straight out of the Camaro as well. The LS1 Zs had that type wheel with those radio controls. He pulled everything out of the donor car. Really well done.
