Is anyone interested in this NO fee gathering???
I have left a message for the special events coordinator at Nick's Pizza about having this event at the Elgin/Randall Rd location. I hope to speak with that person this week...and go from there to finalize plans....
ALSO:
I missed the Elgin Car Show, Saturday, September 6, 2008, because of the ValveReplacement/Adult Congenital Heart Association Chicagoland Mini Re that day in Geneva IL. I will keep tabs on the website...

...to see when next year's event will be held. Once I see that info, I will post it ... and see if we could maybe make that another gathering point next year...depending on the timeframe of the 2009 CRUISE ROUTE 66 event.

I'm considering it again. The young gent with me last time is hanging with the wrong crowd. Looking to spend another day with him. He had a blast, never being to ANYTHING like that event.

Sure hope you are able to join us. Would be great to see you and that young gent again. Sorry he is hanging with the wrong crowd. He sure seems like a great kid, at least from what I observed this past July.
OK ... this weekend, I spoke with Natasha at Nick's Pizza Pub. They have a patio that overlooks the parking lot. So, that would be a great place to eat, if the weather is nice. If the weather doesn't cooperate, we can always eat inside.
Natasha did ask if we have a "set" time for eating, so they can plan for us accordingly. I know we usually start gathering around noon ... does a 1:30p lunch time sound good?
ALSO...anyone interested in a "Fall Color" drive during this gathering? We could travel along RT 20 out towards Freeport/Lena/Galena....

This event is set for 10/18.....and is for the ENTIRE family. So, invite your family and friends!
Unless anyone objects, I will advise Natasha to tentatively schedule the lunch portion of this gathering for 1:30p.
