HEY NEWBIE HERE im mainly on the streecarforums.com but i ran across this one - i have a 70 monte with 454 -

Thanks for joining this forum and welcome aboard!!!

Man, that sounds like one fast car. I really like that body style as well. I have a 2003 MC SS and I am thinking about getting an older model body to satisfy my need for speed. lol.. Post some pics of your rod when you get a chance.

YEH IT SHOULD be pretty quick - its not finished yet - it has the gmpp alum. heads on it and solid cam(streetable) i expect it to be finished in the spring - my next project is converting it from bench to factory buckets - havinbg a hard time finding the buckets tho - i can get qall of the other parts from that monte carlo book (cant remember the name)
