New to modern day Monte Carlo SS
Just got a 2007 Monte SS. I think I really like it. I'm just trying to learn about what the cars are and what they have to offer. I decided to buy because research showed it is a limited production car at only 10880 built 2007 and looks like the v8 was only 06 & 7. Black.

2007 was the last year for the Chevy Monte Carlo.

Welcome the forum, great way to get into the Monte scene. Now, yes, the V8 was brought back on the 06 and 07 models, where they ended production on them. But early models like the, I believe, the '70s to the late '80s also had V8 and I believe were RWD. Now the 06 and 07 did not get the glorious RWD option... . And all models from the early 90's to 2005 were FWD V6. And some along that year were signature series, with supercharged motors, which was mostly in the 3.8 size motors. And non-superchrged in the 3.4 size motors. And the 2000 to 2007 come in a range of packages, from the 3.4 LS, to the 3.8 in the SS, LT, and SS Supercharged. I even believe I seen a LTZ in your year.
