Greetings, My name is Jeff. I bought my first and only Monte in 06. It has become one of my all time favorite rides. At 6'3" I find it more comfortable and much more enjoyable to drive than my wife's towncar. I don't ever plan to sell it.
Then bad trouble hit last fall. We were coming home from a huge rod run that was held at Pigeon Forge. I was having a great time negotiating all the down hill hairpin turns. All of a sudden the motor lost power and starting making a sickening metallic noise. It didn't sound like a rod or a lifter.

Last week I took off the top half of the intake. I found what appears to be an oil film with metal grit mixed inside the manifold. I don't know what to expect next.

I may have a question now and then as I try to get it back on the road again.

Also pretty cool website
Jeff
