welcome, I'm new also. I've been looking at a few sites for M/C mods.

www.3800performance.com seems to be a good one. They have a PCM for $215. Try www.PFYC.com also.

what year is your SS?

Welcome to the forum....

You may want to consider a programmer rather a chip. A chip is nice don't get me wrong, but you'll get way better gains in most cases by custom tuning your PCM. DHP comes highly recommended and can be found on ZZP's site.

There is always a danger when ever you mess around with the factory setting...lol That's the fun part...

There are a few forums dedicated to helping you tune your PCM without getting you into much trouble. I purchased the Hypertech programmer and I am pretty happy with it for what it is. They claim a 19HP gain on 92 oct......... Plus I was able to get rid of that pesky speed limiter and was able to adjust trans shift points.
