Default new guy

first time doing anything like this. i've got an 01 ss and just starting out to make more hp. i've been on the 3800 performance site but there parts are too steep. any ideas. thanks

Hey DJ01,

Welcome to the forum!!!

Unfortunately, HP comes at a cost. There are some free mods and tweaks here but the results will not be as noticeable as the more expensive mods. I found a cool little turbo set up through PFYC that I have my eye's on. I have also contemplated NOS, they make small units that will deliver 50 to 75 hp shots.

hey tvw i've been looking at catbacks and cam upgrade plus a cold air intake and a set of headers. what is pfyc? any one doing these type of mods on this site? thanks for the reply, djo1

Hey dj01ss,

Here is the link for PFYC.... They have a bunch of cool mods for our cars. Also check this one out if you have not already... ZZperformance Your on the right track with the mods you mentioned. ZZ Performance also has ported/polished throttle bodies that are a pretty cool addition. Check out the turbo kit on the PFYC site...
I have resisted doing too much to mine since I am still under warranty plus I have to have my wife’s approval...lol
