Post I hope this isn't a stupid question

Hello everyone! This is my first post; so, as you can guess, I am new to this site, and cars in general, so please don't be too brutal with your answers that address my questions.

I have a 2004 Monte Carlo LS that I got a year and a half ago, currently has around 135,000 miles, and still runs great; only had to change the battery so far. As I stated before, I don't know much about cars, and did hardly any research before I bought the car. Since it is doing pretty well so far I am looking to put some money into making it very nice. I have gotten a bunch of great ideas from a lot of you and would like to say thanks.

One question that has been on my mind, that google searches can't resolve, is the possiblity of putting a short ram intake on my car. I know it seems silly to want to put a short ram intake on an LS, but I really like the car and want to upgrade it to make it look and sound nice. I will probably drive this car until it is unable to go anymore, and I want to do it in style, please help!

Welcome! No such thing as stupid questions, better to ask and learn than waste money going in blind!

Welcome!

The Wizaired intake on zzperformance has a 3400 option, or you can do a custom fenderwell intake. Just google that and you'll see plenty of options.
