Default Hi To All

Hello to everyone
I got a new 2005 LT Metallic Grey, basic package this past april.
My first monte and so far I love it. I have a few minor nitpicks, but nothing major that I mentioned about in other posts. In order to get the Monte (Color, basic package) I wanted I had to get the higher end stereo with CD but no cassette, which I sort of miss because I did use a cassette adapter for my ipod in my last car. Anyway, looking forward to alot of fun with my Monte and reading alot of posts here.

Rob

Hello Rob,

Welcome to the forum!!!!

I've had my '03 for almost two years now and I am just as happy with it today as I was the day I drove it off the lot.

I believe it's called an FM Modulator, it functions on the same premise as a cd changer with a wired remote control and lcd display

yeah it is a fm mod and it just causes the frequencies to go from the source to the speakers through a fm channel on your radio

I have tried an FM transmitter for my ipod called the itrip. But here in New Jersey there are to many
radio stations, even at the lower frequencies. It works driving one block, turn the corner and some
station overpowers the itrip. There are others on the market, but they get overpowered also.
