Default Hello, question I hope someone can help with....

Hi, I just joined because we are looking at buying a 2004 Monte Carlo SS Supercharged Dale JR, and I need verification that this is a front wheel drive car. The seller only bought it to fix up slightly and sell, so he doesn't know much about it, but said it was rear wheel drive. Yet everything I have read says it'seems front wheel drive.

If someone could help me, I would greatly appreciate it!! Thanks!

Cool

If its an 04 Monte it is definitely front wheel drive.
However if you find a rear wheel drive 2004 Monte Carlo I would be interested in it.

I'll keep that in mind I am still trying to decide if we'll buy this car or not. It has a tick, and belt noise. Not sure if it's something as simple as a bad pully, or something much worse. Trying to find a mechanically inclined friend to go back and look at it with me. Car seems to be in very good shape otherwise. It has 98,000 miles on it.
