7th Gen ('06-'07): What is the cost at dealer for Headlight Replacement for 2006 Monte Carlo?

Thank you so much everyone for taking the time out to answer my question and for all of your helpful hints. With everything that's going on in my life, (kitty cat diagnosed with cancer), and my bad back which I am going to the Illinois Back Institute for, I decided to go to my dealer. They charged me $19.95 for the bulb, and $19.95 for labor. And since they have a Preferred Customer Account, (which I am part of), you get points for every dollar spent, and you can use these points (which are dollars), towards anything you have to pay for. So, in all actuality, it cost me $24.00.

Pretty sure it's a weird bolt though, I want to say it's a Torx bit, so you'll need to make sure you have a set of torx.
Also, highly recommended to wear gloves when touching bulbs, at the very least use a napkit. Oils can transfer from hands and create hot spots.

I don't see it posted, but I replied on the 2nd of Feb. that I had the headlight bulb replaced at the dealer. Cost was $19.95 for bulb and $19.95 for labor. Thanks to all for your responses and instructional information.

Had to get a light replaced on the company truck this week and thought I'd share.
Vehicle - 2000 Ford Econoline.
Light - Run of the mill sealed beam dual filament.
Parts - $18.00
Labor - $50.00
Well, it is California. Must be a $10 disposal fee on the bulb, But $50 bucks, wow. Two screws for the bezel and 4 more for the bulb.
Is this why cable costs a lot?
