HELP WITH HEADLIGHTS
yeah my stupid 9006 bulb went out. so i go to walmart to get new ones, and i find these beauties. Pop the white clip off, and it magically dissapears in my engine bay. Drove around, poked around..nothing fell out. So i need a new ones of those, anyone know where to get em? So than I Go to replace the bulb that isnt lighting, and find the wiring the bulb snaps into is all burnt up. Than I said eff this, put the original back in, and it works! SOOOOO, anyone know where I can get more of those white clips, and what to do about the harness (i assume the bulb will go out again and I need to replace the wiring harness) Thanks guys

RE: HELP WITH HEADLIGHTS
i think you have to go to the stealership unfortunately, the clips are only a few bucks a piece, now the wiring, you may as well bend over backwards going in, i think thats going to be expensive, but some places to sell new sockets that you can get for them (like autozone) thats only like 10 bucks or so and it comes with a bit of wire on it that can be crimped or souldered onto the existing wire

RE: HELP WITH HEADLIGHTS
the good news m9st gm cars and trucks use this style light retainer so go to a bone yard and get them, as for the wiring you can get it from a dealer or you can get to a bone yard and see if you can find another monte that still has them in giid shape , then make sure the ground is in good shape

RE: HELP WITH HEADLIGHTS
its just the socket area thats burnt up isn't it?? you can get that at the boneyard too i guess while your there getting the clips if they have the, but i know the clips when i needed them were more money from the junk yard then they were for the dealer, but yah, the plug socket and wiring from the junk yard would be the best way to go because it is just a 9006 bulb, so if they have a chevy there just cut it out of there and use it
