My wife just inherited a pretty nice 86 ss that needs a few things. Its been sitting since the 90's and has only 66k miles on it, bone stock. Im goin to start fixing some of the problems on it. The most major problem is the heater core. Im trying to decide if i want to attempt it or "farm it out". Has anyone done a write up on this? Does the freon have to be evacuated? Any advice?
Also the driver side window motor is toast. Do I drill out the rivits that hold it in and replace it with bolts?
