Default Fuel Injection Cleaner

Does anyone prefer one over the other? Anything I should look for when I buy it? Any performance gain?

I've used the Valvoline synthetic one one for years. Seems to do just fine.

I use Marvin Mystery oil. You could add it to your gas tank or oil. Every time I use it I seem to get better gas milage.

You can get it at any Twilight Zone or auto parts house..

Marvin Mystery Oil???? I've not seen this one out there yet... You say you put it in your oil as well? Before a change or just in general?

I use kerosene right from the gas station. It costs 2.79 a gallon right now which is a hell of a lot cheaper than the over the counter cleaners. kero is a great cleaner and water remover. it lubricates well too. it will even increase your gas mileage. most of your fuel injector cleaners are made up of a form of kerosene anyway. just wear gloves. don't get it on your skin.

I believe it's called Marvel Mystery Oil, not Marvin. It's been around for years, one of the original engine cleaners, way before fuel injectors were common. Still works great.

you can use a quart for every 10 gallons of gas. I've even gone to a gallon for every 10 of gas. it gives you more power as long as you don't hear pinging. if your engine pings, don't use too much kero because it doesn't boost the octane that much and the ping will get louder than without kero because the kero gas mix has more energy than just gas alone so it will tend to make the ping stronger possibly causing more damage.
