I brought my car in so they could figure out why my heated seats and rear defrosters werent working and they said it was the body control module and 500.00 to replace and install. I called a local autzone and I can get a new one for 100.00. Does anyone know where this is or how hard it is to replace? I cant see it being worth 400.00 to have this thing installed...

You didn't post what year Monte you have, but I think these will roughly be all the same. The BCM is basically a black box that your wires will plug into and is located under the dash by the emergency brake.
