3800 Lower Intake Manifold Gasket- EGR Stovepipe?
Okay, so I'm ordering my parts to do the LIM gasket. While changing it Im going to change the air plenum and gasket, thermostat, and the valve cover gaskets. I've read about an updated EGR stovepipe. My car is an 02 SS, I can't seem to find where to buy the EGR stovepipe. Any help? A link? Part number? Alternate name for the part?
Thanks in advance

The Dorman UIM gasket kit includes the updated stove pipe. The idea behind it is that it is a narrow pipe to help limit the hot exhaust gases from heating up a pipe that is in direct contact with the UIM, which in turn, combined with that and hot coolant flowing through, causes the UIM to allow coolant into the intake.
Supposedly the best replacement UIM kit is here:
GM Intake Manifold Kit
If you REALLY don't want to worry about the stove pipe and damage it may cause, plug the two coolant ports on the LIM and call it a day (then there is zero need to rpelace the entire uim for "preventative maintenance"). Here's a link about my LIM:
'04 Monte Carlo SS - Port Matched LIM
BTW - Use the aluminum Fel-Pro LIM gaskets.
