Default 2004 3.8 V6 monte carlo ss p0102 code

So I've been having problems where my rpm's would be jumping up and down and so I cleaned my throttle body replaced sparkplugs and wires and I recently changed my MAF sensor and it was running great for about a week then it started acting up even worse where if I gave it too much gas real quick it would hesitate to accelerate and my rpm's would start jumping then it would just stall so I put a code reader on it and it pulled up p0102 so should I try changing out the MAF sensor again or what could it be the MAF LB/MIN was a 0 when I put on the code reader and it was running at idle

What type of MAF sensor did you use? for our cars it is best to use OEM MAF sensors as the others tend to not work so well with our cars.

When changing out the MAF...Always use ACDelco... Period! All other brands fail over time.. Bosch etc... Do not let the counter person or anyone else tell you otherwise.

Ashley..
Welcome to the forum...
It could be the TPS (Throttle position sensor)
You can remove it..clean out all the old grease and grit with carb cleaner and then relube it with new fresh grease for smooth operation and see if that helps.

also check to see if the idle air control is clean and free of debris/dirt..
(Heres a Pic of the differents sensors etc..

Or once it warms up and the vacuum lines soften up it could be a vacuum leak.

To check for this...
Take a spray bottle with water in it and mist around the vacuum lines..
If the motor starts to stumble and or stall you've found the leak..
Be sure to do it once the motor has reached operating tempature.

So far I have changed the Throttle position sensor. And The Mass Airflow sensor.
The MAS was a remanufactured part from the part store. Could it be faulty??
Im desperate for any help. Im a single mom on a limited income so I am trying to
troubleshoot this myself as I have already spent about $400 trying to
get my baby running properly.

I don't know what your local auto parts store policy is...
But if possible..I would return/exchange it for an ACDelco...
Ive never heard of a remanned MAF..

That could very well be your problem...

Heres a test... (Don't drive it for any length of time like this)

Unplug the MAF...
Start and drive the car til it warms up to operating temp..
like you would normally do when it starts to act up...(idle high in park)

If it idles normally afterwards...
That's the problem..and the replace it with an ACDelco MAF and plug it back in and you should be good to go.
