My Monte at an indoor car show!
#17
Very nice Jason, you have a very well maintained Monte, great to see it brought out to an event like this to represent the 6th Gen. Montes, very worthy! You rock...
I like the Voodoo Sahara car is way cool...
Was this event sparsely attended??

Thanks everyone. Me being part of this cool show was due to a local friend Chris Capstick. The guy is the biggest Monte fan I have met.
Would not surprise me if it was. Pretty cool car!
I have seen a bunch of KITT replicas at shows before, this one was very well done. Some where just exterior, some had partial KITT interior (such as missing the KITT roof console) and some, well, just were not close enough to mention. This replica, just gorgeous! The owner claims this is the first show he's taken it to and he recently finished it. Paint was so gorgeous, it was like glass. To my novice eye and fond child hood memories, seems very accurate. The owner claims it is a 1982 Trans Am. Had the PMD seats (limited to only like 2 years of 3rd gen T/As), he the 1982 center console under the KITT mods (resembles a 82-92 Camaro) and had the roof console. You cannot imagine how bad I wanted to ask to sit in the car and get my pic in it.
The Voodoo Sahara is so unique and just so awesome. So much personality. It screams like 1950's-1960's Sci-Fi (at least I think that is the era lol). But very very cool.
The show did not have as many cars as I recall from being a spectator years past, but some of that may be due to the weather and transport issues for some.
Don't let the pics fool you, the show did have a TON of cool cars (these are not even all the pics I took, just my favorite highlights). The pics start Wednesday, but the show did not open to the public until 3pm Friday. Saturday was just TONS of spectators.
All cool.
