Default How to reset GM message center with an aftermarket receiver

How can I reset various warnings in the message center of my 2000 Monte Carlo without the factory receiver installed. I have a kenwood receiver with this device http://www.crutchfield.com/S-g3EWWdb...51&I=120GMRC01

When I start my car up it beeps 30-40 times consecutively for low tire pressure, change engine oil, low washer fluid, low coolant level. Before the aftermarket receiver was installed, you would reset these warnings by using the factory receiver. Please help, I can't find the answer to this anywhere.

Your owners manual should tell how. My wifes Silverado resets the change oil message by pushing the gas pedal 3x with the key on, but not running. Something similar for the tires. Auto Zone for free check engine light diagnostics.
That's why I remote mounted my factory radio in my trunk, to access the computer easily.
The fluid levels I would think would befaulty level sensors or corroded wiring, if the levels aren't low.
You should be able to reset all messages without your factory radio.
Security and delayed lighting, etc.are impossible to access without the radio, tho.

I had the factory receiver mounted in the back at first, but the way it was wired, it kept draining the battery.

Thanks. I'll try your suggestion, and probably go to Autozone for the diagnostics.

Everything is gone except for low coolant level.

Your coolant level sensor is probably corroded then, or a bad connection. There is no reset for that. Only resets are tire pressure and oil life.
Actron makes a OBD2 scan tool for $79 at Auto Zone that works great for your check engine light, to do it yourself. Ask my son, he has mine!
