I have a 2001 black monte carlo LS and i want to sound mean. Only problem is I don't know what to get to make it sound loud. Can someone help me?

 

I put dual Flowmaster 40 series on mine with ubend delete, left the resonator on. I like it, has a nice rumble doesn't sound like a ricer either!! Some guys like Magnaflows, I settled on Flows after listening to a lot of different Montes with different exhausts on youtube, etc. I spent about $400.00 on mine.

Just know that a V6 will never sound as evil as you want it to, and you shouldn't be disappointed.

Just shorten the resonator and swap the mufflers.

 

Yep, it will never sound like my '65 Impala!! Next I will shorten the res also, the tone I have now is boss though!! But true that, 6 will never sound like an 8, so don't get disappointed!! Please don't put a fart can on it either!!!;-)

Yes, Place all weather speakers under your car, and record Evil Monster V8 sounds clips 1. Start Up 2. Light take `off going through the gears 3. Hard Race Take `off going through the gears....

You know what would sound the most evil- a nasty aftermarket cam, headers, and then do some free flowing exhaust so you can hear it!
