Default Wizair Help

Well guys i recently picked up a wizair CAI box from a guy over on clubgp. The install didnt go as smoothly as i planned but either way i got it installed. I am wondering what i could use for intake tubing to run from the box to the throttle body. Any ideas? I do not think that the replacement wizair on zzp is worth forty bucks but the stock tubing simply will not work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Maybe a couple of couplers adn a small piece of aluminum intake piping?? Drill a couple of holes for the vac tube and the IAT sensor (if you have the 3400) Cant remember if you got the 38 or 3400?

So it didn't come with an intake tube? Make sure you get something that doesn't conduct heat. In the Wizaired install in the 3800 the sensor gets plugged into the box its self.

i have the 3.8. No i bought it used so it was just the box then i bought a k&n 9 inch filter to go with it. Where exactly on the box does it plug in? Its the older version so maybe thats something that they changed on it.

if your looking at your engine from the front of your car it should go in the top left corner there should be a little spot, you could also contact zzp and see if they have any of the tubing, i would assume they do because they have the random different pieces sitting around for the 3800 and 3400 models, or else they may be able to fab you something that doesnt conduct heat.
do you have pics of yours?

Default wizaired install.........

....Go to the How to Section and scroll down to Wizaired Install.
I took several photos of step by step instructions. I know that you have only the box but it should give you a idea of where everything goes..... ?
Good luck.

what brock said, you could always wrap it too, i used the tape that goes on house heater tubes on the cracks on my intake to make sure it was sealed, and it blends in
