Default Why I post on MC forums

I've always been a "car guy", I have eaven managed to keep myself employeed by being knowledgeable and helpfull. I ask a lot of questions, ones that I'm pretty much sure I already know the answer to, but there is always a chance that there is a better/easier way of going about solving a problem. My former boss was fond of saying "KISS IT". Kiss meaning "Keep It Simple, Stupid" and IT meaning ... ummm?? I guess IT. The point is that I've always remembered to Keep It Simple. It all goes back the same way it came off.
Yes, there is a better/easier way to do certian things. Like putting your car in park and having your friend push so the engine rotates on the mounts, making it easier to get to those pesky back plugs. Or, just reading through posts and finding out that DEXcool will deteriorate gaskets, eaven learning how to reset a "low tire pressure" light. And so on. Thanks to all that have helped.
Thanks to that "service tech" at the John Deer dealership that helped me troubleshoot over the phone beacause I wasn't afraid to ask silly questions.
Why do I post?
Because of the people on this forum. Willing to help, offering opinions and pointing in the right direction.

Hi Thomas,
I have been on the MCF for over 2 1/2 years, and have learned
so much about the Monte Carlo, and various automobiles.
The Monte Carlo is one of my favorite cars : )
I have also learned so much about people from
around planet earth.

(The good, the bad, and the ugly : )
It`s great to have a member on the MCF like you that
shares their knowledge.
Wish you and the reader of this post a

AMEN to THAT one! I've been using that for YEARS with any of the newbies that I work with. When they ask the same question again and again and again tho, there's a problem. As long as it's someone different asking the ????, I have no problems answering ????.
Getting slammed for asking ??? on some of the forums just brings me back to THIS forum again and again! This might not be the LARGEST forum, but we have a GREAT group of members here. The "Monte Carlo Forum" Family!

The only way to learn is by questioning and trying. Keep the questions coming and we all gain in knowledge.
