What happens when i'm bored.
Well it was slow today at work, so i decided to make these stripes.
The stripes aren't perfect. It needs tweaking. But i think it turned out decent. Not bad for a guy that just started to learn how to make this a few months ago.
I decided to go with vinyl for several reasons. I have it readily available at work. The hail here is terrible. If i get bored with it, i can just remove it and do something different.

That looks great! The only thing I would change is the leading edge of the stripes. I would make the leading edge parallel to the crome strip on the grill. So the leading edge of each stripe would be angled slightly. Or maybe have the stripes go all the way to the chrome strip.
Love that graphic in the center! Is that already on the car? Or is that a photoshopped version of what it will look like?

Its not Photochopped. Its on the car now.

I only use ORECAL 651 Its a really good vinyl and is rated at 5 yrs. For something like the stripes, i might use 851, Its a really good vinyl. I think its rated at 10 yrs

Sweet dude, I wish I had access to a vinyl cutter. I've got the design skills and may end up designing my next set in a similar style. There's a white Camaro on CarDomain with some red stripes that are that style and I love them.
I agree about the leading edge, it's the only thing I notice when I look at my front end and it bugs the hell out of me.
