ok i know im asking for it with this one but here it goes anyway. i just recently purchased my 04 SS, and have a long list of upgrades i would like to add, theres one thing. My car did not come with a DIC, and i would really like to add one. is everything already there to make it plug and play (figured they would all use the same wiring harness regardless of options, )

 

well you will need a computer from an 03 that came with the DIC option and the cluster and prob the harness.

 

04's didnt have the D.I.C. units in them?

Contact BBEngineer. He has 2 kits available. One includes the DIC, and the other doesn't. He ALSO has a DRL delete harness, among other things.

I was saying sarcasticly after he posted the EXCUSE ME!

I seriously thought the D.I.C. units were a option as part of the SS packages unless ya had on star.

But the site he told you about is great he has more crap then carter has pills for our cars to wire stuff up or change how things work SAFELY
