Default opera window delete

I am thinking of getting rid of the opera window in my '77. I have the exterior figured out, but does anyone have any recommendations on how to fill in the hole on the interior plastic?

Used to be a guy who came to car shows with an '80s SS he did this to.

My $0.02 worth. It did not look good. But the car was a work in progress.

Whatever happened to car I have no idea? I'd say it probably got junked?
