Well I bought the SLP grill as i have said in a past post well heres a picture of it but i am embarassed to say I lost the little red Bowtie for it. Anyone have any sources for one?

Is it a factory bowtie? it might be the same as on the back, or maybe a 5th gen emblem.

 

I've been thinking about getting one of those grills, could you post some close-up pics of it? Was it easy to put on?

 

It was pretty Easy just the double sided trim tape taking the dumb shield off was a pleasure!

I have the red bow tie from mine if needed , I didnt use it on mine. I used the ss emblems I removed from the side of my car.

 

I like the look of the red SS on the grill.

Did you paint the grille or paint the area behind the grille? It looks really good.

 

Well I painted it the reason it looks so good is that it is wet in the rain dry it does not look as good. But as i have in a previous post talking about someone backing into my car it is going into the BodyShop in a week or so and the Body guy said he would paint my grille to match when he was painting my door. Im exicted about that. It was cool When I rolled in to get the quote he was going off about how cool the Intimidator is and that it should be in a shop on jackstands and keep the mileage low. it was making a fuss over it...so I know it will be in good hands and done right (awesome Reputation of this little Local Shop). He liked the SS on the SLP grille as well. so today I ordered the emblem and after it is repainted by the shop it will be sporting that SS. Dont worry I'll Post Pics as soon as it is done.

 

go to Oriely auto parts and buy a red bowtie sticker sheet. it has 2 red bowtie stickers they are rounded instead of flat so it'll still look like a badge. they are slightly bigger than the slp bowtie but they'll fit just fine
