Hello all, Well I have been so busy lately that I havn't posted much, but here is an update on me. I just joined a car club named STREET KINGS and we have about ten members with cool cars and we help eachother out with painting lighting and other cusomazion Idea's. It's been really fun. We share info on how to get the best deals on car accessories and repairs wich is a big help.

I just moved on saturday and did a car show the same night and I didn't go to sleep till 1 am, what a long day, but the show was alot of fun.

It was Imports vs Domestics at speedworld az

our club took home 5 awards out of ten cars, not bad at all.

The bad thing is the trucks and suvs weren't in a seperate class from the cars so I lost tothe big boys. oh well hopefully it will be better catogorized next year.

In this car club I have made alot more friends and its alot of fun.

man that looks liek a good time. i wish car show happend year round up here. but its 30 degrees and snowing now sooo the next thing is world of wheels. mayby ill go.

Hey great question about painting stripes on, Guess what I talked with my interior shop guys and they had vinyl logo done for their business and they told me try a company named HOT SHOTS, So I get to hot shots show them the cracks and discolor in my vinyl and they told me I got a cheap material vinyl from autotrimdesign. So They said you shouldn't see any wear until after at least four years, So they gave me a quote for my stripes to be done exactly like autotrims design for $150, that includes taking my stripes off and putting new ones on, for reflective black it will be a little more expensive and I am waiting for a price on that, Hot Shots uses a high temperature vinyl that withstands heat better than what I got. So I am gonna have the vinyl redone, when my paint fades in the later years then maybe or if I ever have the same problem with the new stripes than I will paint, Hopefully I won't have to worry.

 

Cool. Go with the reflective black. Looks great at night.

 

I think I'd contact Auto Trim Design about the problems with the rally stripes.

I thought they advertised their stripe kits to last a few years before any kind of problem arises.

 

I did talk to autotrimdesign and they told me to take pics of the cracking and problems with my stripes and email them and they will contact the vendor of the reflective material to see what happened, sowe will see what happens.
