I MADE A READER BOARD
Hey guys, I made a reader board at work on my off time, I use autocad 2008 at work and architectural cad is my major in college so I thought I make a reader board myself. I was at a car show and one person who makes reader boards perfessonally told me it was $80.00 to make me one. I said thank you for the info and I wanted to make one to describe my car at local car shows and It hit me insert the images of my products I have on my car and put a short description and after sizing it the way I want it, It was done. I can make any size 11x17 or 24" by 36". I posted it on my car domain page and thought I show you all what it looks like.
I havn't framed it yet. but here is a idea how it looks so far.

Looks good!
A tip I got from some of the more experienced car show guys at NMCOA:
If you display your dealership window sticker and/or a certificate of authenticity, make a good quality color copy. Display the copy and keep your originals in a safe place at home. This reduces the risk of losing or damagingyour originals. But be sure to be honest with anyone who questions your certificates.

RE: I MADE A READER BOARD
also if you take that in to a sing shop you can have them print it up on a peice of light weight plastic and it will hold up longer and also can then be glued to a peice of thin ply wood and or a peice of pleix. and it will last you for a long time.
Just a thought. Also you can take two peices of plexi and drill them in the cornners so that you can clap them togeather then make sure ya leave room for exspantion and you can let that grown with the list of your mods.
And also if you cut the plexi long enough you can make it fit in to the hood latch or some other holes in teh front end that are there and it will sit there and cover up the holes for one and also hold it up so folks can read it for two.
