Default I Bought A FORD! :-( But (-:

Hello MCF. HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY TO YOU ALL!
I got me a new Job, I start on the 13th. 3 days after I complete my Machine Tool Maintenance Class.
But I will be working with Fiber Optics and mmaking a Really Good Penny! But in order to get the job, I have to Own a Truck. So i picked up a 97 Eddie Bower Excurtion. 185K on the clock for $2900 out the door. It's in better condition than My Minion. Only needs Brakes and 2 Tires. Even the A/C works Great.
As for My Minion, She will be getting a much Deserved Face Lift and a few Upgrades. She Deserves that and more after bringing me Across the Country without a Single Complaint! New Hood Headlights, the little switches that work when they want, Trunk lid with the Vertices Tail, Bumper Covers, Paint with just a hint of Red in the clear coat, Finish the Exhaust, and Minion Stickers that look Etched in under the Name Badges. Maybe an emblem that says MINION EDITION to sit below the SS and to cover the M/KPH on the Gage Cluster!*
She will be a Pretty Ol Thang!

Nice getting a new job. The expos are actually pretty nice. My uncle had a 99 and it was a pretty nice ride.

Thanks guys, this is actually the First Ford I have ever Willingly Owned. I hooked up my scanner to it, went around looking for rust, Check the Mechanicals, I can't find anything to complain about with this truck. Of course, time is the true tell all, but I think it's ganja be a Long Time.
Here is a Pick after a wash and a look under the Hood!

Congrats on the new job! And finishing your school also. Your Expo looks almost new good luck with your new adventure and your new ride.

My son just bought a used Ford pickup Truck. then he thinks I can put new plugs in it and tune it up, I told him that the last one I worked on was in 1984, after checking (youtube) to see how to do this I discovered the plugs would break sometimes. I suggested he get a professional to do it. If I would have broke them I most likely would have had to let him use one of my cars and then pay to get his repaired too. nah! didn't want to do that.

Dale, I know that feeling, I did a tune up on my X-Wife's 6 cylinder Torus, and broke a Plug. I had to go through exactly what your taling about. I wasn't working at the time and had a 94 Altima. My x took good care of it but she lent it to my daughter, who got into a fight with her boyfriend and put a nice dent in the left rear quarter panel. No good deed goes Unturned right!
There are a few dings in the Expo, nothing major. It'll last me till the cows come home. The 5.4 Ltr motor is easy to find. But the 4WD trans makes me a little nervous. It's working Great now but who knows?
