Hello, I signed on to this forum in hope that someone could help me out with some measuremnts on the stripes for what i believe is a 4th gen MC SS.

A friend is restoring one for a customer and want's me to do the grahics on the car. Unfortunattely the customer was MIA for well over a year since they took on the project and has recently reappeared and now they need me to do the work. I moved in this timespan and lost my sample of the stripes for a size reference.

I was hoping someone here could give me the widths of the 3 stripes that go around the car.

MCF is a very good Monte Carlo related web site. One of the best in my book.

Our 4th generation Monte owners are limited however. Myself and a few others are all that's here.

Just to let you know. You can buy 4th generation SS Monte stripe kits on ebay.

 

You can also get some pretty good quality stripe kits from phoenix graphics. Good luck with the restoration.

 

I know the graphics can be bought online, but I can do them for probably 1/2 of the cost of the kits I've seen.

I did try to register at Monte Carlo SS, unfortunately I use hotmail for my e-mails and you can register there with a hotmail address.

I had to use my girlfriend's email to get RE-registered. My home email changed. I couldn't remember how to get to it? So I asked Paul is I could use my Yahoo account? He said it had to be a more perminate email versus Yahoo.
