Question Fuse box cover

Soo quick question...one thing I hate about these cars is the fact that they don't have a fuse box cover. So my question is, will the fuse box cover that came on grand prixes fit over our fuse box?

actually, I think this is in a regal but it looks the same as the grand prix...

if this one won't fit, is there anything out there that will fit a 6th gen fuse box bcuz I hate the way it looks during a car show without a cover over it

wait, here is a better pic of it...I know ours have covers on them but I want something that'll cover it all up & make it look like one instead of 2 separate pieces

Yeah I saw that on yours but ours doesn't look like it's as wide as the 7th gens so idk & I haven't see a 6th gen out there that came with a one piece fuse box cover

I'm intrigued by this discuss.... I wondered the same thing as Brittany about the Grand Prix fuse panel covers.... As I've been interested in a better looking fuse cover.

Mel, please do tell us more...

I imagine the cover boxes are the same size on both cars... ?

Can we say interchangeable?

Idk, just guessing.

Mel's '06-'07 fuse cover is not the right fit for a 6th gen Monte. As for the Grand Prix cover fitting/not fitting, that's part of what Brittany and I are wondering (if anyone has done that swap).

GM is notorious for making minor changes in the product lines (from year to year, or between the related models of the same body type). It's possible the Grand Prix fuse cover does not fit the 6th gen Monte (such as it looks like it has a big thumb screw in the center, but I don't think the Monte has a spot for that thumb screw to attach to). And right now, with where my Monte is parked for the winter, I don't have an easy way to check for myself.

Well I was looking at our fuse boxes the other night & it looks like ours may be shorter & stockier then the grand prix ones but idk & I missed my freaking chance to check bcuz my dad drove home a grand prix last night but I was too busy to check =/ we get a bunch of grand prixes though so if I remember next time I'm at the shop when a prix is there I'll check
