Default Struts for 18" wheels

After researching the problem I have finally found a source for complete strut assemblies that will fit 18" rear wheel models without the use of spacers. I run stock tires as well. This is the only place that has them:

Detroit Axle Part 172471R and 172471L about $80 a piece.

Available on Amazon or Detroit Axle web site.

Took about 45 minutes per side. They also sell complete suspension kits that include ball joints, tie rod ends, hubs, etc.

Car rides nice!

Thanks for letting us know about Detroit Axle. As our cars get older, there are definitely parts that need to be replaced.
How was their customer service/ordering process?

Ordered off Amazon w/ free shipping. I was amazed at the complete suspension kits and their price. You can do a ground up restore of suspension for less than a grand - you do the labor.

Those are the regular Monroe quick-Strut part # and common. Seems like a good price tho

I know, but the Monroe ad says "Not for 17 or 18" wheels". The Detroit Axle ad says "for 17" or 18" wheel models only". So I don't get it, but the struts from DA fit. If I wanted more abuse I would order the Monroe and try them.
