But he was SLIGHTLY outnumbered by GM Kappa cars, about 50 to 1 on Saturday. He took up the rear of our cruise to dinner, after our run.

I'm just glad that I was able to help this fine young member of our Army National Guard, to get his car 450 miles closer to him, as we were going to this event, anyway.
His Intimidator SS is parked 2 cars closer from Lucy, our red Solstice GXP.

Hi gang - Theresa here. It was a HUGE grin to see him jump into it and run it up and down the street as soon as he could. He made that thing SCREAM - every head in the crowd turned asking "what was THAT?" Answer? "He's supercharged!" No kidding!!

 

hm... not so sure jumping in and screaming down the road was the smart thing to do... probably needs a good break in period, but i wouldh ave done the same thing if i finally got my car back like that. good to see it running again. and wow, a monte carlo is huge compared to a solstice.

 

If it was a complete engine rebuild, I would agree...but from my understanding it was valves and the timing chain....so I don't think running it hard would hurt it too badly. Besides, I'm sure there is a warranty.I'm glad he got his car back though.
