I was wondering does a 1986 monte carlo have a full frame
my dads was in an accident and i want to rebuild the car and the fram was bent on the drivers side at the back

 

I am almost 99.9999% sure it does have a full body frame.

in 2000 when the new body style other wise knowen as the lumina was put out is when they went to a sub framed car.

So i would say yes it dose have a ful frame. as far as it being bent depending on where it was bent and how bad it was bent it might not be a hard fix.

Also depending on your wants on how o rebuild it. most community colleges have a body shop class and most of the time you can get ahold of the teaeacher there and ask if they will let you have the work done there or what you have to do so you can do it.

Most of the time your paying for parts and then some matirails to have the car fixed and they are real cheap . But this is also a gambel if you let them do all of the body work and paint as the paint job will be as good as the person doing the work.

But i have done this twice and both times had verry good luck as most studens tha are going to get this will be ones the teacher thnks can handel the job and or a favorit of the teacher,
