Cooling System Integrity Modification? Remarks?
This protuberance. This "Goose-neck", I think, is a Major Flaw in the efficiency of the Cooling System. As you can see from the photograph ... the top of the Goose-neck gets AIRBOUND.
Notice that the LEVEL in the Gooseneck IS NOT at the same level as the Coolant in the Main Tank. The cavity IS NOT functioning correctly.
I am going to INSTALL a small ... "Stubby-style" Tire Air Valve at the top of that Gooseneck ... on the flat part indicated by the Red Pencil Pointer. If I Keep the INSIDE Diameter of the Hole in the top a few thousands OVER the OUTSIDE Diameter of the Shank on the Tire Air Valve ... I can EASILY ... purge the AIR BUBBLE which forms there out. Insuring that the COOLANT in the Main Tank will Rise and Fall as needed to replenish the Coolant System.
Without that Goose-neck AirBound ... the Cooling System will not have noisy air bubbles or problems related to low coolant and Dex Cool.

i hate where the location of the coolant tank is at right now. i'm going to relocate my coolant tank and replace it with a smaller after market canister. this way i don't have to worry about bubble in the goose neck.

It came with the Vinyl Top. When I first saw it; I thought it was a rag-top convertible. No. Just the vinyl covered hard top. I can't find any number of mark on it to research it; either.

Sand the top of the Gooseneck flat to eliminate the casting seam.
Mark the center.
Drill a tiny "Pilot" hole.
Drill a 5/8ths hole in the Top of the Gooseneck.
Grease an Air Valve to be able to force it in the Gooseneck hole.
Muscle the Base of the Air Valve through the Drilled hole.
Pluu-out and Center Valve in Locking Groove.
