I like the blade style (race-inspired) spoiler better on SS models. Gives the car a sportier look.
The surfboard style gives more of a classy, and refined look.
As you can tell, I'm neither classy, nor refined. LOL.

Looks great!

No idea because I had a fender painted as well. I work at an auto parts store so I bought all my materials such as paint etc which for the record the berry metallic WA811k is not cheap! I have a great discount at work and it still cost me $100 for a quart. So I had pass side front fender painted and he drilled the new holes and plugged the old ones on the deck lid. Total for everything from that guy was $360 for painting the deck lid/fender/spoiler with labor for all the welding etc too.

Question to those with the pace spoiler...does it sit flush on your deck or is there a small gap?

It looks good, neither spoiler looks bad but the pace spoiler is at a whole different level.

The race inspired spoiler on the '03 SS Pace car we recently purchased does not set on the deck lid at the front edge. There's a gap. (an irritating gap if you ask me, cause dirt get's in but you cleaning it keeps out)

Even the race inspired spoiler on my '06 LTZ the front edge does not set on the deck lid. The front edge curses back under itself just slightly.

Jason, here's the gap on my spoiler.

I find it annoying also. Especially since I have a maple tree in my yard, and those little yellow things that fly off of the maple trees this time of year, get under the spoiler.
