Default New Struts

After putting lowering springs on my Monte the front end was bouncy so I invested in two of the top end Bilstein struts and what a difference! Better handling and no more bounce.

I would highly recommend anyone putting aftermarket lowering springs invest in at least a good set of front struts.

The Bilstein's are expensive and this was the HD Series that is why I got the front only for now. You can get the comfort series cheaper. KYB's are good too and much cheaper. Mine were over $200 each.

Yeah basically $250 a strut, but Bilsteins are worth the investment. When I lowered mine I went straight to Bilsteins as I wasn't even going to try running the lowering springs on the factory struts. The Bilsteins ride nice with the lowering springs and don't bounce, or pogo, all over the place.

Cool, Didn't no Blistein made em for our cars. Expensive as hell though!

I assume the comfort series would be less harsh than the HD's, I think that's probably where I'd go since I don't plan to ever go rallying my little 3.8.
