Default 2008 Monte Nationals

For those who attended. What a great weekend.

For those who couldn't attend. Sorry. Hopefully next year you can? It's going to be in Connorville, IL in 2009. Not sure if I can make it or not? I will make room reservations "Just In Case."

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many beautiful Montes. Hard to choosea favorite. And I met a lot of new friends too.

Someone posted on NMCOA that since I left early they took my award. I suspect this is a joke. Cause I know the members of NMCOA do not like either of my Montes. Well, they may like them. Just not enough to vote for either of them. But oh well.

Other then the down pours we had a great, & super time.

Since someone (name unknown) drove off and left their cleaning supplies at home, we tried to locate an Advanced Auto store to buy more that we passed on our way in on friday. But we got lost instead. So I, (I mean they) made due with what they brought with them.

I hope everyone had as good a time at the Nationals as we did.

I've got to get them uploaded. [sm=smiley20.gif]

I'm having an issue with my job that's consuming a lot of my time. I'm suppose to be on vacation. Some vacation.

Please be patient.

Chris, it wasn't cause they weren't invited. I believe only two 5th gen Montes showed up?

One was a Brick Yard edition. He got mad cause John Harvey wouldn't let him pull his trailor on the show field to unload the car. So he backed from the parking lot to the spot he parked in. (quite a distance by the way)

He and two other Montes were in the class I was in.
(I found out yesterday from a PM that John Harvey sent,my Monte received an award)

Thanks kid Space.

Nothing quite like being at a NATIONAL show, you're cleaning your car. Trying to detail it as much as possible so it can show off to it's full potential. You get inside to move the car and tear the driver seat.

YES! I tore the driver seat in my car.

I bought a new grille for the car after my cat Smeekers scratched the original one, one day. The new grille arrived last thursday so I thought maybe, just maybe I can get it in within a short amount of time? WRONG!

But the tool I was using to pull the push pins used to secure the grille was left on the engine, and rode the all the way to Greensburg, PA. I only happen to see it when we were cleaning the car on saturday. So like a idiot I put the tool in my back pocket and forgot about it.

I was asked tomove the car over a few spaces, I got in the car hear a noise I wasn't happy hearing.

So now I get to locate a new seat cover, or have an upholstery shop repair the damage. Which is in the most expensive part of the seat. Where the perforated holes are.
