Default 1997 Monte LS 3.1 > ECM fuse location.

I checked all fuse locations that i know of, ( passenger side panel), ( left side of engine compartment), ( right side engine compartment ) and no ECM fuse. I did see a PCM fuse at the left engine compartment though. Is there an inline fuse somewhere?....Regards.....Tom H

might be that the pcm fuse is your ecm fuse, and its just a matter of terminalogy, if you want a fuse for the 'engine control module' i'd say its very likely the pcm fuse. if youre looking for an 'electronic control module' fuse, then i'd say itsa 50/50 shot.

btw, whatcha doin? and why

i'd say thats the pcm then, i've usually heard to go for disconnecting the battery for 10 min, i would imagine pulling the fuse would work but i dont know if theres ever any negative side affects of doing it that way. but if theres no down side, you also dont have to reset your radio as with disconnecting the battery.
