Correct, this is actually a Grand Prix part. That's why you have to do a little trimming to make it fit correctly

Just wanted to say THANKS Chibi for passing along this info.
I did the cabin filter in my '03 Jeff Gordon Monte last week and the deflector yesterday.
The dealer ordered it in, list $7.85(CAN), my cost $5.49 + tax. Cheap insurance. Fits great.
Thanx for the part number(#15794785), the parts guy had no idea. He wanted to open the box and look at it when it came in.

Slight mod to the existing cowl cover.

Just put mine in and it only took 20 minutes... Great how to... Only snag was my large round retainer broke and I'll have to go to the dealer for a new one... Thanks again Mike...

awesome and very helpful write up. thankfully i got this part today before we get smacked with more rain tomorrow.. and cutting those tabs off gave me an excuse to try out my new dremel! also idk if anyone else did it but i cut a 4inch section off the removed weatherstripping and tacked it on the end the deflector towards the center of the windshield for extra drip protection. just in case.

Just bought a 05 LT in January with 65k. I was vacuuming and noticed the carpet was wet. I pulled it back and it was soaked. I have Alldata on my computer and it was no help. I googled the leak and it brought me here. It was right on, 4.62 inc tax and a five minute job. I pulled the seats and the carpet to dry properly so it doesn't mildew and stink. Props to poster
