I wasn't aware that any of the hub bearing assemblies came with the 3 mounting bolts?
I don't see them in the pictures or referenced in the description.
I'll find out in a couple of weeks. If that's the case I can return the ones I bought from GM.

Sorry bro I mis understood you, I thought you bought new Lug Nut bolts, They come with the new unit. Sorry about that your right..

CORRECTION !
I posted last week that I bought a 34mm deep socket(black) for the axle nut on my 2003 Monte.

I was at the tool store again and took my new GM axle nut with me.
I realized that the proper socket is a 33mm...!!
What's funny is that a 33mm, 12pt socket fits but a 33mm 6pt socket does not fit?
This is very odd?
I wanted to ensure nobody went out and purchased/ordered a 34mm socket.
I purchased a 33mm, 12pt, 3/4" drive socket(silver) and a 1/2" - 3/4" drive adapter.
The socket is just deep enough to get at the axle nut on the car.
I will be returning the 34mm deep socket today.

I received my TIMKIN hub/bearing assemblies the other day.
Excellent service/price from a Canadian company included free shipping.
I will be doing this replacement in a couple of weeks.
Sorry for the socket size error.

Default Torque specs on axle nut

Newbie here!

I need to replace the front hub on my 02 Monte. Looking at Rock Auto, some of the parts list different axle nut torque specs.
I searched but didn't find anything.....
Why are some parts listed as 159ft/lbs of torque and some listed as 118ft/lbs?

Thanks in advance!

Thank you very much for this write up about this. My father and I were able to change the hub on my 04 Monte because of this. Much appreciated.
