Good morning, my son and I are playing with a 1985 4.3 tbi engine. This is his first car and the car he is going to be learning how to drive with so I don't want to drop in a V8 just yet.

We are thinking of freshening up the engine though with a new cam, headers and exhaust. Has anyone done this to a 4.3tbi that can give some tips of parts to use/parts to stay away from, where to start, maybe a link to a step by step guide.
