out of the bottom? it really doesn't look like it will fit, and theres practically no room, wouldn't it be easier just to lift the motor and trans right out the top then take the transmission off while its out?
You could also pull it out the top with the engine- that works fine too; thats how I did mine with my L67 swap just because then I didn't have to buy one of those top engine support things, and didn't have to mess with the cradle and the PS rack and such.

What he means is to drop the cradle too (the big metal square that the engine/trans bolt to)- once you drop the cradle (with the engine supported)- you can unbolt the trans and lower it out the bottom. Or you can drop the engine/trans cradle as a set too if you want to go that route.
