I have probably tried them all over the years, and the best I have found is Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax.It goes on and comes off easily, really helps eliminate minor scratches and swirls, and seems to hold up pretty well.

I too have tried many different waxes, and I have to agree that Meguiars NXT Generation Tech Wax is the best...... Then I tried the NXT Gen. paste! Even better than the liquid - lasts longer, and its not as hard t use as you would think. It does take a little more elbow grease than the liquid, but the results are definitely worth it.

I third the Meguiers NXT 2.0 tech wax for the ease of use and outstanding protection! I prefer the liquid, but I apply it with a porter cable orbital buffer.

as much as i would like to disagree with the meguires i have found the ultimate wax.
they have 3 different waxes for different color types this one is for darker: http://www.poorboysworld.com/natty-blue.htm
paired with this: http://www.poorboysworld.com/blackhole.htm
best results ive ever seen!!!

I've also used the NXT stuff. I liked it, but found that it didn't seem to last very long at all. Within a couple weeks, the water just didn't bead up like it did when I first applied it. I've used many products, and I have to say, that by far the longest lasting product I've EVER used has been the Zaino system. Lots of people say it's expensive stuff, and it is up front. However, you use so little of the product per layer that it lasts quite some time! I've waxed the car in October, and by April, the water is still beading up - and that's through a New England winter! I'll never use another product but Zaino. Their car wash stuff is just awesome too!
